How smart contracts work on App Chains?

I was wondering how smart contracts work on App Chains. If we wanted to create an App Chain with Polygon as the base, for instance, would we deploy a contract to the App Chain or Polygon?

Yes it is absolutley possible to utilize Ankrs App chain infrastructure to build an an app chain on Polygon. In this instance it would be a Polygon supernet. We would be able to customize your app chain to your projects specific needs.
